INLAND EMPIRE DOG ACADEMY RULES & Class Requirements

PRE-ENROLLMENT

Dogs & Their Pet Parents must be approved for enrollment into any of the classes at the Academy.  Board & Train students must be approved by the Superintendent.  A "Class Consultation" must be scheduled prior to enrollment.  To schedule a Class Consultation , please contact us at (951) 678-7942 or email us at:  info@inlandempiredogacademy.com

PARKING & ENTRANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Parking is on the Street.  Please do not park in the driveway or block any entrance to the Ranch/Academy.  Entrance to the Academy is located just right of the Driveway where the large WELCOME sign is located. 

Please do not come to the front door of the residence.  Upon arrival, please ring the bell and wait for the Ranch Wrangler or the Class Instructor.

You must remain in the “transition” area until allowed access into the training areas.  ONLY ONE PET PARENT AND DOG ARE ALLOWED IN THE TRANSITION AREA AT A TIME.

HEALTH & WELLNESS OF YOUR DOG

All dogs must be in good health NO FLEAS OR TICKS and up to date on their vaccines.  Pet Parents must submit proof of current vaccines from a Licensed Veterinarian or a Vaccine Clinic (VIA EMAIL TO info@inlandempiredogacademy.com PRIOR TO THE 1ST DAY OF CLASS TO  BE ALLOWED INTO THE ACADEMY - NO EXCEPTIONS).   All Dogs must have the following vaccines:

Rabies

DHPP – (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo and Parainfluenza)

Bordetella – (must be current within 6 months and every 6 months thereafter)

All dogs must be spayed or neutered if over 1 year old.

Unless otherwise approved by the Principal or Athletic Director, only ONE (1) Dog Per Pet Parent is allowed in class at any time.  Multiple dogs by one Pet Parent must have written approval prior to class.

LEASHES AND RESTRAINTS

All Dogs  must be on 4-6 foot leash.  No retractable (flexi) leashes.  No chain leashes. Small dogs may use a harness with a leash.  ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND REMAIN ON THE LEASH WHEN LEAVING THE ACADEMY.    No "unleashing" your pet until it is safely in your vehicle or in one of our gated training areas and authorized by the Instructor.

No electronic collars will be permitted in class – no exceptions. Dog Collars should be equipped with a Dog License and I.D. tag that reflects the pet’s name and valid phone number.

CLEANING UP AFTER YOUR PET

Poop bags should be brought to class by Pet Parents for cleaning up after student.  Please "air" your dog in the designated potty areas.

SCHOOL UNIORM

No "High Heels" or "Spiked Heeled" shoes, open toed or flip flops are allowed  on the ranch or in any of the training areas (Astroturf & Agility Areas) at any time.  We recommend "closed toed" or flat soled shoes such as tennis shoes and comfortable attire  be worn for class.

OTHER IMPORTANT FAQS

Unless otherwise authorized, please do not bring any of your dogs "toys" to class.  Plush toys are prohibited.

Aggressive People and/or Aggressive Dogs will be expelled from class. NO EXCPETIONS.

Dogs & their Pet Parents are NOT allowed in the pool unless approved by Management.

Unless authorized, the Agility Area is for Agility Practice  only.  Entrance to the Advanced Agility Area must be supervised by Management. 

DEPOSIT & REFUND POLICY

Group Classes – $50 deposit is required to hold your space in any of our group classes. If classes are rescheduled due to inclement weather or emergency, they will be made up at a later date. If you are unable to attend any or all of the scheduled classes there will be no refund of any training deposits or class fees.

Board & Train Dogs– $100 deposit is required prior to scheduling a time to drop your dog off at our location for board and train services. 

All fees and deposits are non-refundable. 

PAYMENTS

Payments must be received at the time of checking into your first class at the Academy.  Payments may be made by Check, Visa or Master Card or Cash
